The Ryerson DMZ at The National Club

As part of the National Club's exciting new partnership with the DMZ at Ryerson University, we recently hosted their "Startup Showcase."

DMZ (Digital Media Zone) is an internationally recognized business incubator of early-stage technology startups. It helps startups succeed by connecting them with customers, advisers, influencers and other entrepreneurs. Since 2010 it has incubated over 260 startups and raised over $200 million. The top-ranked university incubator in North America and third in the world, the DMZ is a hub of innovation, collaboration and commercialization. Members with the DMZ can develop digital technology, accelerate product launches and contribute to Canada's growing success in the digital economy.

The National Club has recognized business and industry leaders since 1874. We are delighted to honour this tradition by acknowledging the next generation of entrepreneurs and building a relationship with an innovative organization that has a track record of fuelling entrepreneurs with the resources to grow their startups into successful companies. The DMZ connects entrepreneurs with customers, advisors, influencers and other entrepreneurs as part of a community that supports and fosters technologies that transform various industries.
