National Club Announces Partnership with the DMZ at Ryerson University

The National Club is pleased to announce an exciting new partnership between The National Club and the DMZ at Ryerson University, an internationally recognized business incubator of technology startups that is ranked third in the world.

The National Club has recognized business and industry leaders since 1874. We are delighted to honour this tradition by acknowledging the next generation of entrepreneurs and building a relationship with an innovative organization that has a track record of fuelling entrepreneurs with the resources to grow their startups into successful companies. The DMZ connects entrepreneurs with customers, advisors, influencers and other entrepreneurs as part of a community that supports and fosters technologies that transform various industries.

Maurcio Meza
The inaugural Sheldon Levy Award will launch this partnership. Honouring former Ryerson University President Sheldon Levy, this award will recognize an innovator who has shown not only success, but also demonstrated leadership in the entrepreneurial community by inspiring people to join in their vision. The winner, Maurcio Meza will receive a one-year membership to the National Club.

This award was presented at the DMZ’s sixth anniversary on April 28.

National Club members should look forward to future partnered events, including entrepreneur luncheons, DMZ hosted networking nights and tours of the DMZ’s state-of-the-art space located at Yonge-Dundas Square.
